Kung iisipin mo, ang titulong ito ay maaaring maging papuri o insulto, depende sa pananaw ng taong mag-iisip. Pero hindi iyan ang pokus ng artikulong ito. Nais ko lang maglagay ng isang panimulang kapupulutan ng aral.

Weird

Is the song “Hotel California” by the Eagles really satanic? I just got this information from my brother who learned of it on a school seminar. Determined to find the truth, I quickly went to YouTube to search for the backmasked track of the video. There - I listened with disbelief - are really satanic lyrics on the song. I don’t know if this is just a kind of an online deception.

In my own opinion, these songs, as there are many more, are just a product of our imaginations. In fact, we have no clear evidences stating that songs like this or that are satanic in nature. This is only caused by stereotyping. What important is to have a strong faith in God and everything will be alright.

Alleviate Poverty

I am happy to announce that by merely reading this post, you are doing something to help eradicate poverty in the world. For that, I thank and salute you.

Yesterday, a friend told me about a site that tends to make the world a better place to live in. Here’s how it works: you’ll have to answer a vocabulary question and for each correct answer, you automatically donate 20 grains of rice to help end hunger through the UN World Food Program. For example, if you answer ten questions correctly, you donate 200 grains of rice. It’s  easy, isn’t it? By just staring at the computer screen, working on your brain cells, and clicking on the correct answer, you are doing your part in this advocacy very well.

At the same time you help others, you also help yourself. Not only others would benefit from your charity. Answering the questions makes you smarter and in the end, a better person.

Boredom is…

…boring!

I need to find something better to do than just turning my computer on and off. Actually, I need to review for my lessons but I’m not into reading this day. I’m at lost - I really don’t know what to do. Time is runing and my progress is only  walking.
