Back from the Hiatus

My absence has been longer that what I have expected. Lots of paper works and group activities have kept me busy since the start of classes last January 5. And to top the list, it would be our Midterm Examination this Wednesday. I have too many reasons to be busy.

Just recently, I watched a new commercial on TV. It’s from McDonald’s. I got in love with it the moment I saw it. Mcdonald’s really never fail to surprise me with their advertisements. Why? It’s for you tyo find out by watching this commercial:

My New Year’s Resolutions

1. This year, I would really study harder than ever. I would focus more on my studies and less on other things like DOTA, Friendster, Multiply, and Plurk. My blog, however, is an exception.

2. I would be more thrifty than ever. I would spend less on my “wants” and more on my “needs”. This would be a preparation for the global crisis this year.

3. I would spend time more on my self. Other things keep me so busy that I find it hard to give my self a time to relax and enjoy.This year would be different.

4. I would try to be more optimistic. I must admit that I prefer to think negatively rather than positively. But I’d change that point of view this year.

5. I would be a better person. I believe that New Years are not just a season for fun. It is also a  time for self improvement. By our simple ways and means, we must start the change that the whole world urgently needs. And we must begin today.

Online Pets

According to Wiktionary, a pet is “an animal kept as a companion”. It can be any kind of animal - dogs, cats, birds, or even rodents which are kept in captivity. Some people just love to have them. And I happen to be one of them.

The first attempt to revolutionize pets happened in 1996. It was during this year when Bandai Co., Ltd. released “Tamagotchi”, a toy which allows one to have a digital pet. You need to take care of it just like a real pet. Since then, many became addicted to digital pets. And I also happen to be one of them.

For this, I want to share this website to  you: aBowman. This site happens to offer some online pets like fish, frogs (I don’t like them!), spiders, and hamsters (I love them). The online pets can be customized according to your favorite colors. Here are some of the examples:
